Summer Schemes & Art Camps

Our Art Camps are different.  We include a huge variety of professional practice mediums, skills and techniques; among them sculpture, painting, photography and fashion.  Children will learn from accomplished Artists.

Workshops are centralised around the child’s own values, hopes and dreams.  We show them how to use different mediums and materials to express themselves.  The children learned about cultures and Folk Art from all around the world while also improving fine and gross motor skills, social interaction and creative play. Each week of our camps are themed and include different skills, techniques and materials.

We have delivered Art Camps for the past 2 years at the Island Arts Centre. We love our planet, Mother Earth, so we use as many recycled and natural materials as possible to protect our planet and show our love.

Mediums included in our Art Camps:

  • Painting

  • Drawing

  • Sculpture

  • Decoupage

  • Costume Design

  • Jewellery

  • Mosaics

  • Print

  • Photography

  • Logo & Branding Design

Workshops For All Ages

There is no group too wrinkly or fresh faced or even out at the ‘back end of nowhere’ that we can’t cater for. We can design Workshops to meet any needs or requirements and to include all manner of themes and activities.  From one off drop in sessions, to a large programme of scheduled Workshops - we do it all!  We also have a huge bank of Workshops ready to go so we can work with all sorts of budgets too.

We recently completed a project with an over 50s group and ArtsEkta in Portadown. This 3 month project included meeting fortnightly for 2 hours.  This Workshop was designed with a focus on Mental Health and Memory at the heart of it.  We utilisized plenty of confidence boosting techniques for getting those imaginations warmed up and back into action, for some it had been quite some time. We had so many laughs while sharing stories and playing around with Art.

“Elaine has great positive energy, is wonderful at getting the best out of people and brings so much to any creative project.”
