Training - Mentoring

Anann’s Arch training and mentoring scheme is for those new to Arts facilitation or for anyone who would like to learn Anann’s Arch techniques to become part of our team of paid facilitators. There are three different levels of intensity which can be delivered to groups of varying sizes. The training is also a great resource for Art and teaching students in their professional practice and continuous development.  Designed and delivered by our Director Elaine Taylor, the training embodies our main objectives with a focus on Workshop Design and Delivery - giving practical advice and essential skills to working with groups across the board.

●      Level 1 - A half day of theory and practical Workshop scenarios, giving participants knowledge of what makes the Anann’s Arch approach to Workshops different/ exciting/ new.  We will put theory into practise and participants will leave equipped with the ability to incorporate new and exciting techniques into their own planning and delivery.

●      Level 2 - A full day with theory, practical Workshop skills and Workshop development/ design and materials exploration.  Participants will not only learn the Anann’s Arch approach but also put it into action and gain new skill in planning and preparation with guidance in designing a Workshop plan and where to begin with a new job.

●      Level 3 - A full day with theory, practical Workshop skills and development, design and materials exploration. Participants will be assigned a mentor to help advise on gaining employment and Workshop delivery and to support in their first paid Workshop which will be organised by Anann’s Arch on completion of the course. Participants will not only be equipped to gain Arts employment but also be considered for future work with Anann’s Arch.

Community Art Training

Designed for and directed at Community Group Leaders - Caregivers or those seeking to gain employment in these areas. Each training session will be individually developed to teach the group a new Art skill and equip them with the Anann’s Arch tools in workshop planning and production, enabling participants to be able to deliver their own Workshops to their respective groups.  Not every group can afford to bring in a Professional Artist so why not learn how to provide one yourself?
